RSA 201-D:11 was originally enacted by Chapter Law 184:3 (1989). In 2009, RSA 201-D:11 was amended by Chapter Law 273:1. This made an edit to Paragraph I of the RSA. In 2025, HB 273 (2025) proposed the addition of a paragraph to RSA 201-D:11.

It is unusual for a statute to be amended in different years by chapter laws with the same number; nonetheless, this is what happened in 2009 and 2025. In addition, 2025 HB 273 ended up as 2025 Chapter Law 273, another uncommon numbering occurrence.
